The monsoon is the most poetic of seasons. Every afternoon the clouds roll in, the thunder rumbles in the distance and you can almost see the plants eagerly stretching up to receive the life-giving rain. The monsoon brings some difficulties, but most people seem unflustered as they scoot into the nearest shelter and whip on their poncho. Children continue their games as they hide under the tail of mum’s raincoat.
